Betadine Antiseptic Ointment is recommended for the treatment of common mild skin infections, as well as for the prevention of infection in minor burns, cuts and abrasions. Betadine Antiseptic Ointment kills bacteria commonly responsible for minor skin infections.

Apply Betadine Antiseptic Ointment directly to the affected area 2-3 times daily.
If redness, irritation, swelling develops discontinue use and consult a doctor. In case of deep or puncture wounds or serious burns, consult doctor. Do not use if tube seal is broken. For external use only. Avoid application over large skin areas or to extensive burn areas. Do not use if hypersensitive to iodine. Avoid excessive heat.
